NARS Publishes ¡°2019 Inspection Report¡±
On August 8, the National Assembly Research Service (NARS) published ¡°2019 Inspection Report¡± in order to support the activities of the parliamentary inspection of the administration by Members of Parliament and their legislative aides.

Recognizing the importance of the parliamentary inspection, NARS has supported the activities of the parliamentary inspection by publishing reports every year since it began in 2009. Starting this year, ¡°Inspection Report¡± and ¡°Evaluation Report on the Follow-up Actions of the Oversight of Administrative Agencies,¡± which were previously published separately, have been integrated into the ¡°Inspection Report¡± series. The book is divided into individual standing committees to enhance readability.

The ¡°2019 Inspection Report¡± is composed of nine books, one for each standing committee. The report includes 702 policy topics and 147 corrective evaluations explored and reviewed by NARS legislative researchers throughout all areas of politics and administration, economy and industry, and society and culture. In particular, the upcoming ¡°2019 Inspection Report¡± contains policy topics that have recurrently been pointed out by each standing committee for the past three years. These policy topics can be referred to in preparation for the parliamentary inspection.

Beginning with the publication of ¡°2019 Inspection Report,¡± NARS will make every effort to provide the resources needed for the 2019 parliamentary inspection so that the National Assembly can fully monitor and control the management of state affairs.
